Gigi D'Agostino was born December 17, 1967, in Turin, Italy. He is a music producer, singer, and a DJ. He is mostly famous for his hits “Gigi’s Violin”, “Bla Bla Bla”, and “La Passion”. Gigi D’Agostino was one of the first DJs, who managed to experiment with Progressive-Mediterranean progressive style.
In 1986, Gigi (real name Luigino Celestino D'Agostino) started his career as a DJ playing Italo disco music. He released his first mix “Psychedelic” Gigi worked in a club for more than a decade until he was finally recognized as a celebrity. His first two albums A Journey Into Space and Gigi D’Agostino weren’t very successful. One song from the first album “Gigi’s Violin” made it to the 4th spot of Italian Singles Chart.
In 1996, D’Agostino released a double-sided record Noise Maker Theme. The songs were recorded together with Daniel Gas. Later they created a label called Noise Maker.
In 1999, D’Agostino released a hit album “L’Amour Toujours”, which was a big hit in Italy and the rest of the Europe. A hit single from that album “Bla Bla Bla” received a silver certification in France and golden in Italy. It reached the 6th spot on the Italian Singles Chart.

In 2004, D’Agostino recorded his fourth studio album L’Amour Toujours II. The singles from that album “Welfare” and “I Wonder Why” were rather popular in Italy and reached the 14th spot on the Italian Singles Chart.
In 2006, Gigi created a new label Noisemaker Hard. Throughout his career, he performed in many clubs around the world. He visited such countries as Netherlands, Spain, France, Germany, and Switzerland. Gigi was very popular in Europe in the beginning of the 21st century.
D’Agostino continues to record songs, remixes, and perform live all over Europe.
